Our 6th grade Theater Performance class delighted Preschool students today with 2 performances. The first was the Tale of the Ugly Duckling and then a twist on the Big Bad Wolf! The performance was well liked and our audience members were perfect! Thank you Mr. Stow and our 6th grade puppeteers.
January is School Board Appreciation Month. Glen Lake Schools is truly fortunate to have Cory McNitt, Rick Schanhals, Brooke Hazael-Massieux, Lisa Siddall, Leah Mosher, Travis Stein, Tom Bisbee (incoming), and Ginna Woessner (outgoing) to lead our school. Thank you for all you do for our District.
The Middle School and High School choirs spent today caroling and spreading Holiday cheer around the county nursing homes!
Our Middle School students made a little Holiday Cheer today with our Holiday Market provided by our incredible partners, LIFT (Leelanau Investing For Teens). Each student decided on what craft they would make for a friend or family member, decorated handmade cards, and wrapped their items while sipping on some Hot Cocoa! Half our students went today and the other half will have time tomorrow.
Thank you to Stefanie Murphy, Glen Lake LIFT Coordinator and all her helpers to make this a wonderful experience for our young adolescents.
Holiday cheer in full swing! 🎁 Our amazing PTO and parent volunteers are helping students pick and wrap the perfect gifts for their loved ones at the Holiday Bazaar. Thank you for making this season so special!
The PTO meeting that had been scheduled for tonight, 12/16/24, has been canceled. We will see you at the next PTO meeting on January 27, 2025!
Our current Community Connections class of 8th graders participated in holiday cheer. They volunteered this afternoon setting up the Holiday Needs Gift Program in Lake Leelanau. A program that provides gifts and more to families in need this holiday season. Thank you Mrs. Vasquez for setting up these valuable learning experiences for our students.
We can’t wait to see you at the Elementary Holiday Concert tomorrow night! Join us on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The Lower Elementary students will kick off the evening with their performance at 6:15 PM, followed by the Upper Elementary at 7:00 PM. Don’t miss this festive celebration!
