The month of January marks the observance of School Board Recognition Month and provides an opportunity to show our appreciation for these servant leaders. Glen Lake Schools is truly fortunate to have Cory McNitt, Rick Schanhals, Brooke Hazael-Massieux, Lisa Siddall, Leah Mosher, Travis Stein, Tom Bisbee (incoming), and Ginna Woessner (outgoing) to lead our school.
Their job is to establish a vision for the school's education program, design a structure to achieve that vision, ensure schools are accountable to the community and strongly advocate for continuous improvement in student learning. The job of a school board member is tough, the hours long, and the thanks few and far between. We encourage you to join our community and express gratitude to the individuals who serve our school community on the board of education.
