After spending twelve adventurous years living at the foothills of the Northeast Georgia mountains, I am thrilled to be back in my home state! I have a wonderfully supportive husband and two incredible children. My family and I have enjoyed hiking since the kids were very little. We love exploring the beautiful forests, dunes, and beaches that Northern Michigan has to offer. Building a new house together in Empire has strengthened our resilience and taught us the true meaning of perseverance.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Language Arts. While in Georgia, I taught K-1 combined, 1st-2nd combined, preschool, GA Pre-K, and EIP (Early Intervention Program). In 2019, I was hired to teach preschool at Glen Lake. Teaching our Littlest Lakers is an honor that brings so much joy to my life, and I am truly blessed to be a member of the Laker family! I strive to instill a love for learning in ALL of my students, ignite their imaginations, and inspire them to reach full potential.
