I have taught grades 6-12 during my time at Glen Lake. I currently teach 8th grade Social Studies and Mock Trial for middle school students as well as Public Speaking/Debate, Introduction to Psychology, AP Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, and Poetry in the high school. I love my students, my subject matter, and my opportunity to continue learning. I received my B.A. from Oakland University and my M.A.T. from Wayne State University.
Living in northern Michigan and teaching at Glen Lake are dreams come true for me. I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and taught at Edsel Ford High School and Petoskey High School before achieving this dream in 2002. After 20 years my husband and I continue to be struck by the beauty of our community and are grateful to have raised two sons here and call Leelanau County home. I enjoy reading, hiking, biking, and spending time with family/friends.
