After 15 years in finance I had the opportunity to go back to school to become a teacher. That change in careers has allowed me to make a living doing what I am passionate about and feel like I am making a difference each and every day! I graduated from Western Governors University with a degree in Biology and a masters in Instructional Design. I am working towards a credential that will allow me to teach all science subjects but biology will always be my first love. 

I moved to this area with my husband Michael, who drives the Frog bus for Glen Lake, and our daughter, Cassie, who is a Glen Lake high school student. Justin, Alli, Josh and Laura round out our family with our newest and cutest member, Maddie, making Mike and I grandparents. I couldn't imagine settling into a better community and am so proud to be a Laker!
